About Me

Mrs. Bennick
Hello Parents and Students, Welcome to Fifth Grade! I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to you. My name is Delissa Bennick and this is my thirteenth year teaching at May Watts and my twenty-first year of teaching overall. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Governor's State University and my Master of Education degree from National-Louis University. I have specializations in curriculum and instruction, social studies, language arts, and psychology. I have two endorsements which include English Language Learning and Gifted Education. My husband and I have lived in Naperville for 22 years. We have three boys who have attended District 204 schools since Kindergarten. Our oldest son is a Junior at the University of Illinois in Champaign where he is majoring in Biology. Our second son is a Junior at Neuqua Valley HS and our youngest son is in 8th grade at Crone Middle School. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning in Fifth Grade! I am very anxious to meet all of your wonderful children and to get to know them on a personal level.
